Shotgun microfoons
Een richtmicrofoon, of een shotgun microfoon, is zeer richtgevoelig. Omdat de shotgun microfoon zo richtgevoelig is wordt er vooral geluid opgevangen vanaf de voorkant van de microfoon, dus de plek waar de microfoon naartoe gericht staat. De richtmicrofoon is dus ideaal voor situaties waarbij je geluid van 1 persoon of plek wil opnemen zoals in een filmstudio of het filmen van een documentaire buiten.
